Books that Make the World Stop
At his children's bidding, H. Nathan Wilcox's recently completed his first middle-grade novel, Selene of Titan, and fell in love with children's literature in the process. A coming-of-age comedy, Selene of Titan is a hilarious, heart-warming exploration of the differences that bind us together and what it means to belong.
Prior to this most recent effort, Nathan independently published two novels in the epic The Pattern's Purpose series. The first, From Across the Clouded Range, was widely viewed as a "brilliant" addition to the fantasy lexicon. The follow-up, The False Martyr, continues the series, taking it into deeper, darker directions while building on the detailed characters, gripping plot, nonstop action, and dark humor of his first novel.
A former management consultant and now full-time writer and homemaker, Nathan has been writing for twenty years. He has had numerous stories published in fantasy and science fiction journals and was twice a finalist for the L. Ron Hubbard Writer of the Future award. When he's not writing, Nathan is usually found volunteering at local schools where he especially loves working with children on writing. He is an outdoor enthusiast, amateur chef, and aspiring mixologist. A graduate of Carleton College, he lives with his family in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Stop by sometime, he'll make you a drink.
